Family Photo Session + Surprise Proposal

Hannah and Kib! My favorite people who I’m happy to call my friends as well. Hannah reached out about a family photo session in the mountains with her boys a few months back, & upon arriving to the area, Kib pulled me aside and explained he planned to propose to Hannah during our session. I was so excited!!! Kib did amazing in his execution and in making the moment so memorable. Our favorite part is Hannah’s oldest son gasping from excitement in the background!!!

If you haven’t been to Wilson Creek, it’s a must see and an absolute gem of a location for a family photo session. It is part of the Grandfather District of the Pisgah National Forest & is just south of the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s streams start at the top of Grandfather Mountain and rush thorough the mountains to a 200-foot deep gorge of granite bedrock. It’s just beautiful. And to top it off, when passing through the town, you’ll find a true gem in BBQ cuisine at Boulevard Barbeque off S College Street in Morganton, NC. Let me tell you – the banana pudding there is sinful and you can’t have just one serving. It’s amazing!!! Be sure to stop here while in the area.
